Turned in our keys....

Amy and I turned in our keys and went to work for the last time today.  Now it is off to start new jobs in Kearney - Eleven years with the Kirksville School District have been great - no regrets!  :-)

Excavator

Carter went for a ride in a Cat Excavator today with Larry Higgins the operator.  Later he got to sit in the machine all by himself.

Giant Excavator!

Carter marveled tonight at the giant excavator that moved into our property to create a drive back to our land.  We sold our home but will keep the land thus we must create an access road.

No More Braceface

When Laura was a child, she wanted to be an actor, but had teeth. Well today....Laura got her braces removed (see before and after pics).  I guess she will be an actor now but the rest of us are bummed since we will need to find a new way to capture XM radio signals while driving around in the car.   Total price 5k.

Visit to Florida

We celebrated Carter's 3rd birthday this year in Florida with Granny and Grampy.  We had some good swimming time and many celebrations with cake!  Betsy, Micah, and Jonah visited on Saturday.  Carter really liked their visit because they even had time to wrestle on the floor, like boys tend to do. Thanks Granny and Grampy for the hospitality!
