A Special Pillow

I shot this picture of Carter's neatly stacked Puppy Pound nap bedding at 6:00a.m. this morning, then had to laugh ... the names reveal, several kids that have left their mark on that little pillow~

One more first...

Carter had his first dentist visit today.  He was extremely well-behaved, but there was a movie playing for him for the entire visit:).  He received bad news that he will have to have that extra tooth pulled:(. On the bright side, it looks like there will only be 2 teeth replacing those 3 front teeth!

Weekend in Old Monroe/Troy

Carter, Laura, and I drove across the state last weekend to visit family.  While we were at Mom's house on Saturday, we went to Aunt Catherine's house because they were cutting one of her tree's down.  Uncle John asked Carter if he wanted a tractor ride to move the wagon closer, and he was all over it.  A year ago he probably wouldn't have ridden with him, but he has grown up in the last year!!

Then on Sunday we visited the Bartigs and had a birthday celebration for Laura.  Emily rode to Kearney with us to spend the week with the Burkempers, so she got to celebrate also.  Happy 17th Birthday, Laura!

Trout Fishing and Racing At I-44 Speedway this Summer!

Thought I would upload a picture of my Camping World truck I plan to race at I-44 speedway this summer.  Just tested at the track last weekend and am currently in the process of giving the truck a make over.  Will post updated pictures soon.  Looking forward to a summer of trout fishing at Bennett's Spring State Park and some Saturday night short track racing at I-44 speedway.  Lots of thanks to my patient and tolerant wife for allowing me to chase this lifelong dream!
