Fall Hits Kirksville

From bright yellows to vibrant reds, the leaves transform Kirksville into a wonderland. I dyed my traps today in preparation of the bitter cold days that lie ahead. Laura and I are hoping that Raccoon pelts will again top out at $30 this season.

New Anchor Wall

A few weeks ago we bought some landscaping stones at a local auction. Last weekend Mike took on the giant task of installing them. Chris Martin was nice enough to share his bobcat so that we could shave off some of the hill and then it was just a matter of adding some elbow grease.

Our New Sidewalk

We added an additional 110 feet of side walk to the front of the house. It should make life a lot easier when the snow starts to fall. Thanks Mark for your help.

Last Visit of the Year from Granny and Grampy

The Bartig family had a great visit with Granny and Grampy Bartig this past weekend. We visited the famous Rutledge Flea Market, played games and enjoyed some terrific Indian Summer weather.
