The Nutcracker

Laura came home from college, and we attended a performance of the Nutcracker at the Kauffman Center that night.  We really enjoyed it, we hadn't been since she was 4!

Christmas Program

Carter's PSR class participated in a Christmas program at church.  His class sang, Silent Night.

First Grade

Since Laura went off to college, I only had one child in my first day of school picture.  This year Carter started first grade with Mrs. Sloan at Dogwood Elementary.  I am the librarian at his school, and dad started a new job at Smithville High School as their principal.

More Summer Fun

We spent a lot of time at the pool at Clayview this summer.  Carter learned to swim and had fun jumping off the diving board.  He is such a big boy!

The Lofgrens were in town one weekend, so we spent some time at Clayview.

Carter even went off the high dive.  Every time he jumped off the diving board, he always had to take a test jump off the side in the deep end to see if he could still swim in the deep!
