Laura's 14th Birthday!

Laura decided to have 9 girls spend the night on Friday for her birthday. Reluctantly Mike and I agreed to the idea. At 7:00 pm they started arriving, and then the fun began. The evening involved lots of food, makeovers for everyone, computer time, movies, and a lot of talking and giggling. They even managed to find a creek to explore before everyone left on Saturday. Laura's friends included Maddie Reger, Nikayla McLain, Kenzie Simmons, Camden Woods, Kelsey Collins, Sophie Paino, Maddy Valencia, Marina Fanning, and Adriana Arabas.

Spring is here!

Carter enjoyed the beautiful weather today. He especially liked the crocus we have blooming in front of the house. I have started liking Kirksville again, no snow and mud has finally dried up!!

Spring Break 2011

We flew to Florida on Sat., March 5, and met Granny and Grampy at the Tampa airport. This was the first time Carter flew, and we were a little nervous. Luckily he slept through both flights. While we were there, we spent most of the time at their house just hanging around, because we have decided Carter is best at home! We did try to go to the beach, but when we arrived the winds and waves were coming in. So we just chased some birds and headed back to the house. Matt, Betsy, Micah, and Jonah drove from Orlando to visit on Sunday. Nancy Logan brought dinner to share with us on Monday. Then on Tuesday, Mike, Amy, and Carter flew back to St. Louis. Lucky Laura got to spend the rest of the week with Granny and Grampy.

Night Riders!

Laura and Ashley saddled up J.D. and Chief and decided to take a February night ride. The full moon was so bright it was like day during the night. The horses were wired due to the warm weather and full moon so it did not take much to convince them to getty up and go!
